Here is a maintenance version of eagle-usb named eagle-usb-2.3.2 that brings :
- correction of a bug for ppc : it works now correctly thanks to svetljo's patch
- new ISP list & CMV files
- there's a remaining "minor bug" in release-process : EAGLEUSBVERSION in Makefile is not taken into account, I had to modify the file driver/Makefile to put 2.3.2
- it has been verified that it works with latest stable kernel (2.6.11) & gcc-4.0

Please provide feedback, particularly for ISP in Spain , see

From now on, works on developments will switch to ueagle-atm driver by Matthieu Castet :
- this driver works nearly like current speedtouch driver, using usbatm and is based on *BSD's driver by Damien Bergamini
- the current version ueagle-pre12 is stable and works with kernel-2.6.10 and above (tested on cooker & debian sarge)
- the license chosen is dual BSD + GPL for some parts coming from Damien's driver (big thanks to him !). Any contributions to the driver will be under this license to include them in *BSD if needed.
- a wiki is available at http://atm.eagle-usb.org and a documentation is currently available at http://dev.eagle-usb.org/wakka.php?wiki=DevEagleUsbATM
We have the remaining objectives to address to publish a 1.0 version of ueagle-atm :
- enhance installation (at least documentation), patched version of usbatm is currently furnished
- enhance configuration, though it's quite easy (but too manual), scripts can come later
- begin to use the svn repository available at https://gna.org/projects/ueagleatm
We have been sensible to ADI & Sagem contributions and hope they can take into account this new driver (mostly tests) and continue to work with us.
We have accepted and understand that source code cannot be released by ADI for DSPcode & USB firmware, "due to third party licensing issues".
- we need a distribution license for DSPcode & USB firmware : 2-clause BSD or public domain would do without source code. We'd like a confirmation by ADI as already asked 21st April 2005.
- distribution will hence be as free as is currently possible, for anyone.
- and we can begin to ask to have the driver included in the kernel, for user ease of installation
